What to expect in 2019

As in previous years, Tulip kicked off this year with the launch of a new release of our Clienteling and Store Associate Mobility apps and demonstrated these new solutions at NRF in New York City. The timing was perfect, as the “next generation store experience” and the importance of the store associate were front and center at the event, aligning with Tulip’s focus.

Earlier this month, Tulip launched version 6.0 of our apps. One of the big themes of the release is hyper-personalization enabled by improved customer information capture tools and advanced customer filtering to create micro-target lists for communications and offers. Tulip announced a new feature called Customer Prism which allows retailers to, on the fly, create lists of customers using facets the retailer creates for their business, e.g. favorite brands, colors, styles, and other personal preferences. These customer filters and searches are the starting point for individualized associate conversations with customers with specific retail interests.

Tulip also announced a strategic partnership with Google this month. The new Tulip Advisor capabilities in version 6.0 are powered by Google Cloud infrastructure and analytic and provide associates with a personal dashboard of next best actions for client interaction automatically: who to reach out to, how, when, and why.

Tulip also launched the CRM connector for Salesforce. Using Tulip’s new Customer Capture feature, associates can capture key customer information and now merge and deduplicate with Salesforce using bi-directional sync that is GDPR compliant.

Also in the news, our CEO, Ali Asaria, was recently interviewed live on the Bloomberg TV. Ali discussed the role Tulip is playing in the retail store transformation that is occurring and gave a great overview of how our customers are using Tulip.
